The Thai kingdom covers a total area of 514,000 square kilometres in the heart of South East Asia, located between India and china. Thailand shares borders with Burma to the West, Laos to the north, Cambodia to the east and Malaysia to the south. The time zone is GMT + 7 hours. The local currency is the Thai Baht.

Thailand is a land of outstanding natural beauty, rich culture and heritage. As a result Thailand attracts more tourism that any country in East Asia, with all types of visitors from backpackers to luxury 5 star hotel visitors. With a stunning array of natural beauty, exotic cuisine, stunning beaches and friendly people it is easy to see why tourism in Thailand has consistently increased every year by approximately 14 percent.

Thailand is often referred to as the "land of smiles" as a tribute to the Thai people and the welcome that they give to visitors. The Thai people have a very religious culture; over 95% of the population follow the Buddhist faith, based on the teachings of Buddha, "The enlightened". Despite the dominance of the Buddhist faith the Thais are very respectful and tolerant towards other religions.

Thailand has three new international airports; Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket, with countless flights from Europe and other world wide locations.

Investors will be very happy to see the massive infrastructural work that is currently taking place in Thailand, Particularly in Bangkok. Bangkok has seen the development of the Suvarnabhumi Airport ("Golden Land"), the size and scale of which is quite a sight to behold.
